This term is used in a casual sense to refer to the relationship between a project employee of Beaufort Fairmont who may later become an employee of our client. In this arrangement, when all parties agree to the employee becoming a permanent employee of the client, the projected employee will transition to being an employee of the client. Also called “conversion”.
-
Conversion is the process a client of Beaufort Fairmont uses to change a project employee of Beaufort Fairmont into a permanent employee of the client. This process starts with the client, the project employee, and Beaufort Fairmont agreeing to convert the project employee. When requested, Beaufort Fairmont may allow the client and project employee to talk through the terms of employment with the client.
Beaufort Fairmont and the client then agree to a date for conversion and work through any paperwork needed to seamlessly end employment of the project employee with Beaufort Fairmont and begin employment as a permanent employee of the client.

Employees of Beaufort Fairmont MUST be authorized to work in the United States. We do not employ people outside of the US or those who are not authorized to work in the US.
All potential employees must have valid, current work authorization and proper documentation to work for us.
As a small company, we are not able to sponsor visas.
-
Many times candidates say “I have an employer”. This does NOT constitute work authorization without sponsorship. Instead, it implies the candidate is looking for a C2C or 1099 type of relationship. We never enter into C2C or 1099 relationships to side step work authorization, or sponsorship.
